Do you want to see the misalignment in your neck?
The One Problem
The x-ray view that shows the misalignment is called a Blair Protracto view. It is taken from an atypical angle that confuses most chiropractors and even many radiologists. Because I had been taking Upper Cervical x-rays long enough, I didn't have any trouble learning how to read them.
However, I knew that the average person who has not studied x-rays would have no idea what they were looking at or how big-of-a-deal it is (like holding a rock with symbols on it … not realizing it the Rosetta Stone, which was the decoder which allowed archaeologists to translate and read Egyptian hieroglyphics).
For the past 4 years, I've explained as best as I can what the misalignment that I see is and what it means. Still, I've always wanted to show people exactly what the problem is without getting into a 2-hour lecture.
The Posters Show the Misalignment
A few months ago, Dr. Drew Hall showed me a proof of a project the Blair Chiropractic Society was completing - a poster, which showed in magnificent color the exact thing that we as Upper Cervical Chiropractors can see when we look at x-rays. (Repeat Kung Fu Panda 3 response)
The posters have arrived in North Lakes and are ready for your viewing pleasure. I still need to frame them, but I will do so one-at-a-time so that I can start showing them immediately. Here is the essence of it:
Every joint in your body - it doesn't matter if it is in your neck, low back, or little toe - should line up at edges when you are in a neutral position. If the edges line up, things are normal. If the edges don't line up and you can take a picture of it (x-ray), then you can see what the problem is and how you need to correct it.
Maybe it's more of a big deal for me - finally being able to show with ease why your x-rays are so important and so unique for you - but next time you are in the office, please take the time to check out the poster so that you can see what I've been trying to describe the importance of the misalignment, the subluxation of the neck, the brainstem and what that all means for your health and life.
One last comment: do you know someone who has "been to all the specialists, but they can't find what's wrong?" If so, please forward them this link to see if there is something we might be able to do to help them - to look at things in a way that no one today has done. Please contact us on 07 3188 9329 to schedule an assessment today. The Blair Protracto X-Ray shows the misalignment between the Head and the Upper Neck.
