The New Office Manager at Atlas North Lakes

Who is the New Girl at Atlas Health?

If you've called or visited the office in the last few days, you may have noticed that there is a new voice and face at Atlas Chiropractic in North Lakes. If you haven't already met her, I (Atlas Chiropractic) would like you to meet my wife, Natalie who has just joined the practice to help provide a better level of service and to help expand Upper Cervical care for the local community.

Why Now?

Request Appointment

Admittedly, this is a long-overdue step (probably 2-3 years). However, since about the end of last year, it became abundantly clear that I had about maxed my ability to help people in the office running a solo show … and my sincere apologies for running behind over the past couple of months as a result.

As you know, I don't like running late by even 5 minutes, and as soon as Natalie has her head wrapped around the new computer (because she's also learning to use a Mac for the first time), we will hopefully be back on the track.

Natalie grew up on the Sunshine Coast, and at 18 joined the army, which ultimately took her to Darwin and Townsville, where she lived for several years. Much of her family had moved to the North Lakes-Redcliffe area, and when she decided she needed a sea change from Townsville, she came home here. Natalie and I met through a local running club about 7 years ago … in fact, she was the one who encouraged me to do my first ultra-marathon up at the Glasshouse mountains.

A long story short, a crush blossomed, then dating and then a wedding in 2013. Some of Natalie's most memorable accomplishments were trekking the Kokoda Track in PNG (~10 years ago) and completing several ultra-marathons of 100km, 100mi culminated with the grand-daddy of runs in Australia, the Coast to Koscioszko 240km run. (Natalie is pretty reserved about herself, so she may kick me for sharing that, but this is why I've often said that I may be quicker than Natalie over 50-100km running, but she is much tougher than me over the really long distances! )

We still run-up in the hills most all weekends, but not nearly what we did a few years ago … we're trying to find a sustainable balance. Natalie also enjoys cooking shows and being woken up in the middle of the night by our furry kids, Charlie and Marley (aka "Staffy" & "Poodle"). Natalie, welcome to the practice!
